Dino Stamatopoulos “grew up” in the Chicago suburb of Norridge, IL, where he masturbated and wrote full time in his parents’ basement. He went to Columbia College in Chicago, and definitely NOT Columbia University in New York. To limit the confusion, it’s always helpful to spell the former: Kolumbia Kollege in Khicago (but with backwards “K”s).
Dino is a seasoned writer for “The Ben Stiller Show”, “The Dana Carvey Show”, “TV Funhouse”, “Late Show with David Letterman”, HBO’s “Mr Show” and “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” and the creator of “High School USA!” and two Adult Swim series, “Moral Orel” and “Mary Shelley’s Frankenhole”, both produced by Starburns Industries.
JOE RUSSO II
Joe Russo II moved to Los Angeles in 1987 to be a rock star. Instead, he became a Production Assistant at a then small animation company called Klasky/Csupo. Russo continued with The Simpsons as it broke off and went to series and worked his way up to layout artist for one of the most popular animated television shows ever made. Joe returned to music to record and produce a popular record with his rock band Green Jello in the mid 1990s and made pioneering stop-motion animated videos for both Green Jello and Tool. He then started his own animation company called 23D Films, which he ran for over twelve years before joining forces with Dino and Dan to start Starburns Industries.
