Dino Stamatopoulos “grew up” in the Chicago suburb of Norridge, IL, where he masturbated and wrote full time in his parents’ basement. He went to Columbia College in Chicago, and definitely NOT Columbia University in New York. To limit the confusion, it’s always helpful to spell the former: Kolumbia Kollege in Khicago (but with backwards “K”s).
Dino is a seasoned writer for “The Ben Stiller Show”, “The Dana Carvey Show”, “TV Funhouse”, “Late Show with David Letterman”, HBO’s “Mr Show” and “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” and the creator of “High School USA!” and two Adult Swim series, “Moral Orel” and “Mary Shelley’s Frankenhole”, both produced by Starburns Industries.

DUKE JOHNSON is a graduate of NYU and the American Film Institute. ANOMALISA, which Duke directed and produced alongside Charlie Kaufman, is his first feature film and earned him a nomination for the Academy Award® for Best Animated Feature. Duke was named one of Variety’s 10 Directors to Watch in 2016. He currently serves as the Creative Director of Starburns Industries. His previous credits include the Adult Swim shows MORAL OREL, MARY SHELLEY’S FRANKENHOLE and BEFOREL OREL. He directed the Emmy Award winning episode of NBC’s Community: ABED'S UNCONTROLLABLE CHRISTMAS.
JAMES A. FINO
Executive Producer/Partner
James A. Fino is a twenty-year veteran of the entertainment industry. Before Starburns Industries, he worked with Joe Russo II at 23D Films and on several hit television shows, including “8 Simple Rules” and “Home Improvement”.
In 1996, he joined the team at FOX’s “King of the Hill” as Production Manager. Fino is also an esteemed new media instructor for the industry-focused satellite campus of University of Texas, Austin, in Burbank.
