Dan Harmon and Dino Stamatopoulos to Appear at FloridaCon
As fans of the series, we are quite excited to have Community‘s creator and showrunner, Dan Harmon, as well as writer/producer/Star-Burns, Dino Stamatopoulos, back on the NBC series for season five (#SixSeasonsandaMovie). But after the current season ends, we are ecstatic to have the duo at this year’s Florida Supercon!
Both Dan and Dino have been prevalent in the world of comedy for quite some time. In 2002, Dan Harmon, along with Rob Schrab, created Channel 101 and wrote/produced many of the series on the Internet channel. He then (along with Schrab) co-wrote the Academy Award-nominated animated film, Monster House, released in 2006 to both critical and commercial success. Following Monster House and creating The Sarah Silverman Program along with Schrab and Silverman, Dan Harmon created the meta-humor and pop culture reference-infused NBC series, Community, which he currently serves as showrunner and executive producer. Harmon also serves as the mayor of HarmonTown, his podcast with Jeff B. Davis, and the producer of the documentary of the same name about Harmon and his life following his year-long departure from Community, which opened this year’s SXSW festival.Read more
